Being Me!

so i haven been on in like two years so i thought i would just update for now. let see i just finished freshman year. that was challenging...one AP class and three honors. glad to be on summer break :D. I joined theater and got into both plays. We did Much Ado About Nothing (i was the messenger) and Little Shop of Horrors (i was an extra but that was still fun). At the theater awards i got freshman actor of the year!!!! I am still the oldest of five kids and i love reading. Some of my top favorite books are Vampirates, Every Soul a Star, and The Work and the Glory. I don't really know what to write so for now good bye. hopefully i will write in this more...we shall see :)

Two Steps Twice

I am bouncing with excitement as I write this. My 8month old baby sister, Sophia took a total of four steps today. I took her out of her highchair and stood her on the ground. When I let go of her hands she took two steps towards me. I was so exstatic that i called for my mom and Sophie did it again. Isn't that exciting.

Earth Day

One of my Favorite holidays is Earth Day. I like it mostly because it is about saving our planet. Are Earth is getting more polluted and destroyed every day. Because of global warming, polar bears are going extinct, the amozon rain forest (wich holds a lot of carbon dioxide and home for animals and plants) is getting less and less rain that it might in the future be a desert, and many places are getting harmed. Trees are being cut down and more and more pollution is polluting the air. Since we live on this earth we can't leave it to be destroyed for future generations. WE HAVE TO FIX IT NOW!!!!!!! Here are some things that you can do:
1. Always recycle. Its not hard and it will make a big difference.
2. Don't waste paper! Paper is made from trees and too many trees are being cut down.
3. Drive your car less. walk more. plus its healthier.
4. if it is possible help plant a tree. More trees are being cut down then planted.
Some people doubt that there is global warming because there are glaciers in California that are growing (yes there are glaciers in California) and in a few other places, but we can still help make the world a better place.

Paper Dolls

On my weekend i learned how to make a paper doll and clothes for it. That is so fun. I love just creating. Me and my grandma have made so many outfits for my paper dolls. She made a piret and awesome modest prom dress that i want to make one day. I made a bolt and camp half blood t-shirt (that's from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Really good series). Paper dolls are awsome!

a day and a weekend with cousins

On Friday we went to see 4 of my cousins. I was completely thrilled because i hardly see them. The main reason we went up there was to see my new cousin (who was born this January) get blessed. She is adorable..... We arrived on Friday morning. We jumped on the trampoline, wrestled (a tiny bit on the trampoline and a little in the house), and tried to reorganize the cousin club in one day. Plus my grandma taught me, Audrey and my cousin Noel how to make paper dolls( that was awesome) That night we watched Bolt, my all time favorite movie. They had gotten it for Audrey's birthday. Saturday was pretty much the same except i mostly worked on paper dolls. On Sunday my uncle Chris some how got me making rubs for the chicken for dinner. I thought that was all but i ended up putting them on the chicken( I didn't rub the rub in, that was my uncles job) and coking them. I am completely afraid of ovens and barbecues but i ended up cooking them and learned that i like cooking. The chicken also tasted really good. (Hey grandma ask grandpa if i can help cook the Sunday dinner please.) And that was my day and a weekend.

SeaMonsters

Okay a few days ago i got a project in social studies(History). We had to make Explorers Log. For example on one of them i was a sailor with Christopher Columbus. I made that person afraid of sea monsters (that is because people back then were afraid of weird things like ships exploding if you go past the equator). We had to illustrate them so i drew sea monsters that said I EAT YOU. I have been drawling sea monsters quite a lot today. Then during math i came up with an awesome things for them to say. They now say "Recycle or i eat you" and i made sure they had big eyes and of course triangle fangs.........
So remember recycle or my sea monsters named bob, Larry, George, Phil, Bobby, Georgette, or any others that i have will eat you.

Nintendo Wii

on Saturday my parents bought the Wii. it is a lot of fun. one game is called the Wii fit. I say it is a fun way to get fit and loose brain cells =). I am not a video game person, but even i have to say that the Wii is awesome.

New Baby Sitting Job.......

Last night i was able to babysit my little 3 year old cousin. He was so cute. When i read him a couple scriptures, i went to close the scriptures, but he stopped me. I asked him why and he told me he wanted me to read a couple more verses. Isn't that so cute and sweet?! This was my second time baby sitting for someone other than my parents and it was a lot of fun. Thanks Melody =)

Airplanes

About a week ago I went with my grandma and siblings to an old airport/ school. Their were so many planes. One plane was created to look like an old French racing plane( Grandma, correct me if I'm wrong) that one every race it participated in. Here is a picture of it with me and my siblings.
We also saw a plane that kids were restoring from world war 2!!!!!! Sadly we didn't get a picture... We also saw a plane that only kids built!!!!!!!! I got to sit inside it.

Forest Falls

Today me and my family went to Forest Falls. There was so much snow today. We built a snowman and a snow duck. We went sledding on Clothes hamper lids. It was fun but our bottoms got soaked. I acidently broke a lid(oops!). Me, Ian, Josh , and Audrey went exploring. Some of the snow was up to our knees. We kept stepping in the snow and watching our feet sink in. Ian's leg got stuck once in a snowdrift. It took about a minute to pull out. We had some snow fights. That was so fun. I can't wait tell we go again.

Twilight

On Saturday I got to go see Twilight. It was okay, but i think they messed up on some parts. Edward seemed really impatient. They got Alice right (in my opinion). She acted really energetic and happy. She says some really funny things. Jasper looked as if he saw a ghost during the whole show. It was kind of funny. Emmett was okay. He said some funny things, but seemed really intimidating sometimes. Rosalie was just like she was in the book, annoying. Though she was a little more nicer in the movie... Esme and Carlisle were okay to. I think they messed up on some scenes to......oh well. I enjoyed watching it and can't wait tell new moon comes out.

I love school. My favorite subject is social studies. Lately we have been learning about Japan. It is really interesting how a samurai rather die then dishonor there master. They are also really great swordsman (or womans). i also like algebra, but i can't stand variables. Graphing is the fun part. I am also in my schools marching band. I play flute. We had to memorize a really long peace and now it is stuck in my head. the funnest part of school is hanging out with my friends!

My nickname is Tia and that is what i am going by. I am the oldest of 5. I am coming up to my 13th birthday. i can hardly wait. My hobby is reading. I know that sounds funny coming from a middle schooler, but I admit I am sorta weird. My favorite series is either Harry Potter or Twilight. my favorite animal is a polar bear!
